Investment Consultant Biography

Bob Kathol Bob Kathol, a native of Hartington, Nebraska, graduated from Creighton University, College of Business Administration in June 1963. He worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1963 until August 1971 whereupon he joined Kirkpatrick Pettis working in Corporate and Municipal Finance until 1999. At that time, he assumed new duties as an investment consultant in Private Client Services. He joined SMITH HAYES in the same capacity with the merger of these firms. Bob brings to his clients a wealth of practical business and investment experience gained in his financing and management roles since 1963. Bob is committed to the highest level of professionalism in providing superior service to these clients. Lori Anderson assists Bob in responding to the investment needs of his investors. Bob and his wife, Bette, were married in 1996. Together, they have eleven children and twenty-seven grandchildren. He serves on the Boards of several public and private businesses and foundations. In his spare time, Bob participates in golf, hunting, skeet and trap shooting and fishing.
