Investment Consultant Biography

Brad Knuth Brad Knuth grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Brad spent a summer studying at Oxford University in England through an International Exchange Program and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School. Brad joined Kirkpatrick Pettis in 1985 as an Investment Consultant. In 1997, the firm appointed him Senior Vice President in which capacity he served until its merger with SMITH HAYES Financial Services in June of 2002. He continues to serve in this same capacity with SMITH HAYES. Brad’s focus is on meeting the financial objectives of high net-worth individuals and business owners as well as working with corporate retirement plans. He understands that the needs and wants of every client are unique, and he prides himself in forming the best possible portfolio to meet the needs of each individual. Brad and his wife, Amy, have two daughters. Brad is currently on the Board of Directors of the Durham Western Heritage Museum. He also served on the Board of Directors of Family Service for many years, most recently as its Board President. In his spare time, Brad enjoys sports, reading, and traveling.
